Bariatic or  OBESITY patients should NOT CONTACT our office with non-urgent questions?  Some of these questions are:

1.  Where am I on the waitlist?

2.  When does Dr Amson want to see me again?

3.  What further tests do I need to have done before surgery?

4.  Which other specialists do I need to see before surgery?

5.  What tests do I need to have done post-op? 

Patients may contact the office if they are having a major health problem post op.  Excessive abdominal pain, shortness of breath, fever, protracted vomiting, leg pain and swelling. 

We are in the process of reorganizing our website to answer most of the questions patients have pre-op and post-op.  OUR OFFICE STAFF DOES NOT HAVE THE TIME TO DEAL WITH NON-URGENT QUESTIONS FROM OUR OBESITY PATIENTS.
